Juicy Tender Marinated New York Strip Steak

- 4 New York Strip Steaks
- salt to taste
- Ground black pepper to taste
- 2 tbls olive oil
- 2 tbls unsalted butter
- 4 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 sprig of fresh rosemary

Directions
Season both sides of the steak generously with salt and pepper. Allow them to sit at room temperature for about 15-20 minutes.
Preheat your skillet over medium-high heat and add olive oil. Once the oil is hot enough, add steaks to the skillet.
Cook the steaks for about 3-4 minutes on one side until they get a nice brown crust. Flip the steaks and cook for another 3-4 minutes for a medium-rare finish or cook longer to your desired doneness.
Add butter, minced garlic, and rosemary to the skillet and spoon the melted butter over the steak continuously for about 1-2 minutes to enhance the flavor.
Remove the steaks from the skillet and let them rest for about 5 minutes before serving. This helps the juices to redistribute evenly.
