Horseradish Sauce with Smoked Meat

  • 500 ml beef broth Added to

1. Step

Wash the meat, dry it and cut it into smaller pieces.

2. Step

Heat the butter in a pan, add finely chopped onion and sauté it.

3. Step

Add the flour and fry until it starts to form a brown color.

4. Step

Add horseradish and stir.

5. Step

Slowly add the beef broth, keep stirring so lumps do not form.

6. Step

Add the cream, stir and let the sauce simmer for about 15 minutes over low heat.

7. Step

Add the smoked meat to the pan and let it simmer in the sauce for another 15 minutes.

8. Step

Serve the sauce hot, ideally with dumplings. Enjoy your meal!
