Best Easy Cheesy Chicken Meatballs
Delicious and easy to make, these chicken meatballs are perfect for a dinner party or a cozy night in. They are moist, flavorful, and can be served with a variety of sauces.
Ingredients
- 500 gms of ground chicken
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1⁄4 Cup breadcrumbs
- 1⁄4 Cup Parmesan cheese
- 1 large Egg
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh basil, chopped
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄2 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 2 tbls olive oil
- 1 Cup marinara sauce

Directions
In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, onion, garlic, bread crumbs, parmesan cheese, egg, parsley, basil, salt, and pepper. Mix until all ingredients are well combined.
Shape the mixture into small meatballs, about one inch in diameter, and place on a plate.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Add meatballs and cook until browned on all sides, approximately 10 minutes.
Pour marinara sauce into the skillet, reduce heat to low, cover and let it simmer for about 20–25 minutes. Ensure the chicken is cooked through and the sauce is slightly thickened.
Serve the chicken meatballs with the sauce and sprinkle with additional parmesan cheese if desired.
